At Full Tilt Automotive and Performance, we do every aspect of Classic Car Repair and Restoration. If you car needs new electrical, A/C repair, brakes, an entire engine rebuild, body modifications or more, we can take care of it all, right here in our 10,000+ square foot shop. A lot of shops like pick and choose what work they feel comfortable doing. We see Classic Car Repair and Restoration as a chance to build the car from the ground-up the way you want to do it. We want to know your intentions for the car, so we’ll ask questions like; “do you want to drive it everyday, do you want to drive it on the weekends, or do you want to race?! Based on your intentions, we will make some suggestions that we think will work for your goals and for your budget. But more than anything, we want to work on every inch of your car from beginning to end. Our greatest joy at Full Tilt Automotive and Performance is when we have a roller come though our doors and leave our shop looking and performing like a show car! 

If you want to keep your car’s original engine and restore it to its former glory, we’ve got you covered. At Full Tilt Automotive and Performance we have the ability and the experience to help you keep your car’s original engine and make modifications to fit your preferred use. In some of these original engines, we’ve installed nitrous, superchargers, and modified cam setups with no real issue. So, whatever build you have in mind – we can probably make it work. At Full Tilt Automotive and Performance, we always charge $120 per hour for engine repairs and restoration no matter the age of the car. And we never base our pricing, or charge a premium based on the value of your vehicle. We pride ourselves on being honest and up front about how long you can expect to wait for your car, and how much it will take to for everything to be completed.

If you want to put a brand new engine with brand new wiring, seat warmers, LED Lighting and an entirely new A/C system in your 45 year old car – we can help with that. We have a lot of customers who prefer their Classic Car Restoration be a little more of a Restomod, and if that’s you, Full Tilt Automotive is your shop. We put newer engines in Classics Cars all the time and we’re used to adding air conditioners in cars that didn’t come with that option. We modify and install current engines like Generation 4 HEMIs, LS Engines, Big Blocks, and Ford Performance Crate Engines for our Classic Car Repair and Restoration clients all the time.  And we’ve even rebuilt a some 400 CID V8s, L79s, Yenkos, Nailheads and more for clients who wanted to keep their car original. Whether you want to restore a show car, have a reliable daily driver, or just go really fast, we’re the team to build it right the first time.

We charge a flat fee for all engine installs. Once we’ve seen the car, we figure out how how long it will take for the install and we can tell you what parts you’ll need for the job.

This pricing example is for a Chevrolet Small Block Engine that is fully stock and needs no modifications. The price includes only the labor to install the engine.  

We can perform an engine swap on all Small Block Related Makes and Models, but pricing varies based on fixed cost
